Special Functions

Table 3.3 describes printer maintenance and printing of

demonstration and test pages.

Table 3.3 Special functions

Function Description

Print cartridge carriage

movement

• Press and hold down the

POWER

button.

• Press and release the

RESUME

button

time.

• Then release the

POWER

button.

The print cartridge carriage will automatically return to the home

position in about 60 seconds.

Cleaning print cartridges

• Press and hold down the

POWER

button.

• Press and release the

RESUME

button

three

times.

• Then release the

POWER

button.

Cleaning paper feed rollers

• Press and hold down the

POWER

button.

• Press and release the

RESUME

button

nine

times.

• Then release the

POWER

button.

To exit from this function, you must Power Off the printer.

Printing a Test Page

• Press and hold down the

POWER

button.

• Press and release the

RESUME

button

two

times.

• Then release the

POWER

button.

Printing a Demo Page

• Press and hold down the

POWER

button.

• Press and release the

RESUME

button

four

times.

• Then release the

POWER

button.
